Completed all of the mid tone base colurs with the exception of the sword and the pistol holster which I will return to later. Have gone for mid tones because I find it easier to shade down to the darkest recesses and highlight back up to the areas that catch the most light. The armour was done with Vallejo black grey, or medium sea grey. The cloak and tabard are done in Vallejo olive green with model air black and a games workshop snakebite leather trim. Vallejo bright orange for the assessories and games workshop hawk turquoise for the headdress. In part 3, I will begin to shade the armour and assessories to give the figure some definition and then work them back up to highlights.
